‘I like sensitive, poetic wines that resonate with the sensibilities of tasters, that open doors to their subconscious, unknown to them… and even more so to me! I oppose these delicate wines to wines of pride, made essentially to flatter the ego of those who produce them and even more so those who buy them’
Vignoble : Merlot (95%) Cabernet Franc (5%)

The main player is the great terroir of ancient ruby gravel with a subsoil of blue clay veined with the red ochre of iron oxides. The taste of the wine must be that of its origin.
The winemaking and ageing processes must be gentle to accompanying the finest Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes towards the purest possible wine; constant care and restraint in the making to reach real purity not affected by human over intervention or inaction.
“Here, everything is order and beauty,
Luxury, calm and pleasure.”
It must touch the senses, achieve the only true luxury, the one that gives sensitive pleasure.
At any stage of its ageing, accessible at any time of consumption, it must be very good young (tasted as an aperitif, for example) and delicious in its maturity, at over 10 years (with a classic food and wine pairing or more surprising with fish, for example).
In the realm of emotion, however, there is only wine. The aesthete in this field will be moved by its formal perfection, but the most important thing, what in addition to the wine makes it unique… will be life, the friends with whom we share it, the cherished moment with which we lock it away in our memories…
Denis DUBOURDIEU
“If we have chosen this Pomerol, it is first and foremost for the pleasure it is capable of providing for all ages. Already very pleasant once bottled, it will remain so for a good ten years at least. In this respect, it is a perfect match for the Pomerol we usually think of: a beautiful deep colour, a very expansive nose with ripe plum fruit, a flattering and harmonious woodiness, and above all the roundness, fatness and flavour of ripe Merlot, whose mellow tannins almost melt in the mouth. Pure pleasure. Drink it whenever you like! Tomorrow, I’ll have no regrets about not keeping it for another ten years”.
